Tosto, running high 9's, is having some of the same issues and he has less passes than me. my last regular M6 lasted way longer than this one has, it made about 100-120 passes before problems
couldnt agree more, i had 140passes or so on my oem tranny plus 44thousnad miles, went through 2 clutches and most of this one and it finally got stuck in 4th gear on my, all that broke was some of the lil keys, i have maby 30 passes on this one so far so im hopin that its not the tranny and its the wore out clutch, ill know soon as i get motivated enough to pull the tranny out.

its possilbe the clutch is part of the problem, but the damn thing was brand new with the transmission. and its a SPEC 5 rated at 1000hp I'll have it out this winter and go through it again...

Were pushing these tranny's to the limits. Hope its nothing serious ,but mine is being goofy too. Good luck and get back out there! I wish we had a track open still.We all need to carry a spare 6-speed like Futral does.

i was havin problem getti into 2ed gear with my rockland standard gear tranny the other day at the track...first time puttin really heavy strain on it and i was like wtf but i looked at my hydrolic fliud and it was burn black as night and was very hot so i let her cool down and it shifted fine so i changed out the fluid not it feels great

i really think alot of the problems with the trannies going out is that sometimes the hydrolics cant keep up with are fast shiftin and we end up feckin up are trannies

i just gotta keep an eye on that fluid

bet run time slip
60 = 1.70 bogin
1/8 = 7.671
mph = 92.33
1/4 = 11.91
mph = 117

I took my car out there too and ran best of 12.0 @ 119 on street tires. Now my 10bolt is howling! Time to get a driveshaft made for my 9in.

Actually the guys above have proshifted trannys. they don't use the hydrolics to shift.

Almost every Midnight Madness at every track I have ever been to is just like that: a "ricer social event" with plenty of front wheel idiots dragging water on the track and ruining the prep with their stupid front wheel street radials. After a couple outings, I have completely stopped messing with Midnight Madness events. It is not the place for serious racers.

Yeah i used to say that too but then i kept grenading my M6. So i went auto. kinda SUX though cause when i was blowing up my stick I was a cam only 3600 lb car launching w/wet 150 out of the hole.
I bet if i would have lightened it up like i am now the M6 would have lasted. oh well.
