LT1 A4 back from the track Well, I just got back from the 1/8 mile track. Here was my time.

What do you guys think? I have a 94 A4 Z28 with LT headers, Matching Y-pipe, Moroso CAI and an LT4 KM. There was an 01 A4 Camaro SS out there that ran an 8.9 @ 80 MPH with a 2.034 60'. (that was one of his best) I was happy that I ran better than him.

Good runs, the car is about where it needs to be for the mods. Make your next mod be a torque converter and tires, my LT1 with just the converter, cold air and a cat back, did 8.5s in the 1/8 on 17s with street tires, your car should pick up awesome with a good torque converter. It will really wake that puppy up!

I don't think so. He just bought it. (which means nothing) Although, I have seen a lot of A4 98+ LS1's run around 81 MPH in the 1/8. (stock) Hell, I've seen a stock A4 LS1 Z28 run a 14.1. Not all of them are going to run that fast. If you think about it, that LS1 was still good for high 13's. Which is about what they get on street tires. (Some mid 13's)
What kind of MPH are you expecting? I would hope no faster than 85. Because that would be damn fast. Stock 03 Cobra's are not running any faster than 89-90 MPH in the 1/8 and I'm sorry, but they kind of own stock LS1's...

Like about 83 mph for the auto. He does have the LS6 intake though so that helps him out a bit. You can't go by ET for how a car runs, that's usually driver error especially with the A4. Hell with the setup I have now I had run a 15.4 before I figured out how to launch it correctly.

I ran against him...The car was an A4 and he got a 2.0xx 60' like me. How could he have driven bad? I ran an 8.6, he ran an 8.9...I have seen other people post about there stock A4 LS1's running high 8's in the 1/8. (8.8-8.9) That sounds about right to me. (street tires)
