Nobody is doing this anymore it appears. I guess everybody has gone to a head or cam or both, or bigger cubic inches. Anyway, surely somebody is still running SI.

Im reading this to compare my times with others.. Are all these cars on the list stock heads, cam, etc? I mean, I ran almost the exact time as you and I did H/C.. I'm sure I could have gotten an 11.4x or 11.5X with the tranny shifting perfectly.
So, are these "completely" stock, untouched LS1 motors? Or is it just stock internals, cubes?

Dam, I'm still in the top 20 (#14) after 5 years. There was so much more I could have done to the car, like run on a slick, instead of the ET street. more weight reduction, like hood, K-member, drag brakes.. And I certainly would have made a gain by switching to a bigger convertor, although the Vig 3200 worked out GREAT. The 11.49 I ran was with a 30 MPH head wind, that can be seen in the video. Without that and the other things I mentioned, I believe I could have gotten close to the 10 sec mark.
Nice to see I'm still near the top. Those were some good times!!
