want twelves and better launch... Ok. I had basically a stock 00 TA with cutout and freemods. I just got some aftermarket lower control arms, pace setter LT's, True duals, and a 99-TR224/224-112 Cam from thunder racing (behive springs and Tit retainers). I also have a pair of 11.5x 28" MT's. I really want to hit mid twelves. With decent driving is this plausible? All input welcome, I also want my 60' low so some suggestions would be greatly appreciated....

you should be able to achieve your goal. Just a little FYI my car (although a m6) went 12.5 @ 114 on a 2.0 sixty foot, mac headers, ORY, cutout, TR 224 .563 112, stock ls1 intake, 10bolt with 4.10's and a home ported TB.

How do you like your cam. Can you hear the loping or anything. Since we have the same one I figured you could fill me in. Mine is getting put in today as we speak and I am curious what it will sound like...

Heck yeah it is possible! In fact, if you DIDN'T run BETTER than that I would be dissapointed! I just ran 12.53 last nite with only exhaust, lid, and my own ported tb. I would be shooting for 11s or at least super low 12s if it were me. BTW, you DO have a converter.....right?
I had a 225 cam in a 3500 stalled a4 and it ran high 11s. Also had full exhaust and ud pulley, but never had a ported tb.

The mac/ory and cutout setup sounded nasty with the small TR224, I run around with a quick group of mustangs (9,10,11 sec) and I was always getting compliments on it, I have yet to fire the car with the new exhaust setup ( Kooks and true duals with spiral flo's dumped) I will try and get a video up for you.

That video would be sweet!! As far as a stall I don't have one yet but that is the next item along with 4:10 gears. Gonna have to be next month though when I save a little flow... Thanks for the help guys...
