My buddy Jason (The red Z-28 I posted the pic of a few weeks back) constantly uses his air dam to take the stripe (sometimes intentionally, sometimes not).
He has run quicker on the brakes on one pass than he did the round before@WOT.
Makes some people "miss" though, if they are driving to his front tire.
I always drive to the front most part of any car. That extra foot or two is good insurance if there is anything under the car to trip the beams. May lead to a break out here and there, but a race that close could go either way anyway.

My grand am that I run in the import races at our track has that finish line quirk the air intake tube is on a bunjee(spelling?) cord and by the top end its pretty much on the ground and trips the beam at the front of the bumper. Witch is nice cuz I run a 14 sec index and the import crowed dont understand brackets or index racing that extra couple feet really helps
Plus our import races dont really have too many rules out side of safty so i can really have fun with them and push the limits on stuff the guys and gals in the bracket series already know!
