Default Back from Pontiacs in the Park

This event has held at Virgina Motorsports Park and man what a great time. I had lots of fun Saturday and Sunday. Lots of GTO's and Firebirds from the 60's and 70's. It was a sight to see. The car show was nice too. Only problem was I forgot to take my camera
anywho..... I raced in the Heavy class (foot brake) and went to the 5th round only to break out by .03 sec. Took home $50 an a nice plaque for making it to the quarter-finals.

Sunday wasnt so good. I red lighted by .008 in the first round, boughtback in and red lit again by .016sec.
Although I did get a new 60' of 1.892

All in all the car ran consistant numbers with a 25mph head wind which brought my ET down a good .2 sec and my speed was 2.5 mph slower in the wind.

My best run:
rt_____ .060
60'____ 1.911
330'___ 5.535
1/8____ 8.503 @ 82.64
1000'__ 11.084
1/4____ 13.264 @ 103.67

Sound like fun, congrats on making the rounds on Saturday. Bummer about the 2 close red-lights, but it means you're trying to cut that good green bulb, and I know how missing it feels too!

Yeah I was caught with the red light virus Sunday. Saturday I couldn't get a red light to save my life.
