Nice times, I'd think there's more left based on the mph

Any 17" tire is going to shock the rear alot more then a 15 or 16" tire would. I broke a few differentials running 17" ET Streets, since I went with the 15" non at all. The ET streets flex more and give a little bit more cushion then a Drag radial would so it doesn't shock the rear as hard. I would pull back on the clutch a little right before you start to launch the car to give it a little drive train preload, this will help save the rear.. If you just dump the clutch and shock the rear you are looking at breaking it.. I also think you can run a faster ET with the mph and 60fts your pulling.. If you preload the rear like I said you should get some better 60fts and lower ETs.. I hope I can help, I have been doing that for some time now and my 60's have drop alot and the ET's are getting lower..

You don't let out of it, you just pull it back till you get a little preload on the drivetrain.. Then when the yellow lights fall pull back a little more to get the car slightly moving then let out all the way and slam the gas.. It will take some practice to get use to it so you won't red light but once you get it down it will save you on braking parts and help your 60fts.
