Default Race Results-RAIN SUCKS!!!!!!!

We have been rained out for 2 weeks in a row now. I am having withdrawls bigtime.

Next race will be this coming weekend(July 15th) at the Clash of Titans race at HRP.

I hope everyone's races went well. Post up your results.

Bummer coach! I'm getting lucky here only having 1 rainout so far this year, and Florida is notorious for rain-outs in the summer

I made 3 round yesterday before an -.004 red ended my chances. Bummer was the car was dialed right (11.507 on an 11.51 dial) and my opponent was .096 green and 11.42 on 11.39! I was happy to make a few round though as always!

Next week in Open Comp and Quick 8! I'm ready for a little transbrake 5-tenths pro tree action!

I hear ya Coach. Combination of work conflicting and the temp in the high 90's here has kept me from the track and I'm getting pretty grouchy as a result.

Hope you did well at Clash.

It rained on me too around 9:45 friday night....it rained the blues after snaping another 10 bolt HAHA!. I did manage to get my transmission shifting right (thanks to jeff conley's tune). I was slowly working into getting on the car hard off the tree with the new 28" M/T DR's and BAM! snaped by spinning and wheel hop'd it hard once then backed off the gas,but the damage was already done. Best 60ft. of the night was a 1.60 leaving easy, trying not to break the 10 bolt , to a 9.5@108.4 at the 1000ft. mark.

Guess now i will be saving up for the moser 9" i have been putting off for so long .

It was just one of those nights where you weren't serious about knocking down a fast ET but getting the tune right. I left all the interior in the car and was just going to take it easy and fine tune the new motor and chaos took over when you least exspect it to but like i said were 95% done on the tune and i am happy that were making progress....just slowly but surely getting there before the cold air hits.

Bastards Gotta love drag racing For the record they are not a sponser here. Thats probably where I messed up.

Good luck to all the drag racers.

Hope all of you had a good day racing. This weekend was the Ultimate Chevy race at NPR. I made it down to 3 cars when it rained. We split the money and each won $250. Good day racing though it was hot. My weather station showed 94 to 96 in the shade all day with the humidity around 50%. Frank95z

Cool your making progress. Good to hear Jeff helped with the shifting issues. Good luck.

Tom,

Why are they charging you again? It sure is taking a long time for them to restall it. Give me a buzz when you get her back together.

Frank,

Congrats again for making it down to 3 cars. Great job.
