Cam-Only TA - I ate a 505hp Z06 Corvette!
We were both spinning on the tires, I was not sure if I would beat him. I ran a 7.70 spinning all the way through the 60' and he ran a 8.0. This was when my tranny was at 180* and it was 95* outside. Usually my car runs 7.4s. The guy insists that I have nitrous somewhere; I told him, "Go ahead and look for it". I promise, I only have a cam and a stall! So it is now confirmed I am hitting somewhere around 500 now. This is going to be a great year. UNBELIEVABLE heads coming -

Good kill. I took a new Z06 last week coming home from work...I didn't want to play on the street but we went from a 25 mph roll...I had him by 5 to 100 then got out of it..He flew by and flipped me off!!! oh well...Those things have wicked top end...Guess he was mad to lose to a lowly LT1...

There are quite a few cam only cars that can scoot a ZO6 on any tire. I want to see a cam only ZO6 hit the track with a tire. I am thinking a full BO with a big cam, a tire and skinnies could crack a 9 with a good driver. We have already seen over 600rwhp out of these with suposed "mild" cams. Oh a gear would help too since they run 11.7 and better with 3.42s and street tires stock. And these are with the first couple cams. Wait till they get more dyno and track time with them to create even better cams. I am not about dyno racing but a before and after difference will show the numbers at the track.

Honestly, a ls7 vette with a tune, boltons, some gear, tires, and a drive line that will hold would be 9s with no problem i'd certainly think considering how they run with none of the above and how that motor should respond to bolt ons. Those things are animals. Put a cam in one and

Nice Kill, fasttagurl.
When two traction-limited cars line up, the winning car usually had the better driver.
A stock C6Z06 has Torque Management in the ECM to protect the drive-train. This makes the car weaker in the 60' and 330'. But it regains full power after that.
Mine has been running 6.31-6.40 for the 330'-1320'. And it's run 11.20 127.55 at a 1600' DA. That was on a 1.84 60' and 4.89 330'. 660' was 7.28 101.95
Run enough C6Zs and eventually you find one with an experienced driver.
