Default 12.4@116 MS3....stock clutch gone!

well i thought i could get at least a few passes on the stock clutch...guess not.

before the cam i ran 12.7@113
now 12.4@116
i barely beat my times with a cam

clutch slips after 6k badly
and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor after every run for a good 10 seconds, couldn't get it into gear

i hate having excuses, but unfortunately its true, i need a new clutch

what kind of trap speed should i be lookin at with this cam, i'm a little worried now, but i know its just the clutch.

thanks for reading

It's not that bad buddy for a slippy clutch & i would say 118mph is obtainable with pefect engagement clutch

What was your best 60' ?

Keep us posted man & good luck .

thanks man, best 60ft was 2.1 i think...i thought the slipping clutch would help my launch a little...but its only noticable above 5500-6k...so i'm missing out on about 800 usuable rpm

Its great, after the tune it runs perfectly, runs close to stock.

Only thing is, i have stock gears, so its a little bit piggish under 3k.

My 1/8th mile didn't improve at all from before the cam swap.
