Thanks everyone.

We are hoping to step it up Labor Day since we "think" we have solved the traction problem. We'll see. this set-up is way different than anything we have done before.

I have cut my burn-outs to about 1-2 second. These are also the same tire that put the SS on the rear bumper.

Here's a footbrake pass. Nothing special about our little country track. I do know nothing can save the track when the track temp is hot - we have seen 140-155 track temps.

I wish it would have gone better for you.

Thanks David, Your car is awesome man. I see the tires are working well for you. They work well for many others too I hear.

I wish the tracks near me would prep properly. I should have said my local tracks suck and not the tires lol

Good luck David.

Tom what really started me on these tires, was a certain suspension expert ( ), put them on one our super bracket racer's car ( ) at Thunder Shootout a couple years ago. They were an immediate help. Been with them since.

Tom it sucks that your track mangement can't prep a track. It is pure laziness/cheap on their part. Our's is a very small track, that get very small car counts, but they still learned how to prep a track right. To bad we only have 2 weekends left this year

I promised him I wouldn't turn up the boost You would do just fine - not as a slower but at least an equal replacement.

I remember borrowing an obd1 cable off taner in 2003 when my car was heads/cam lt1 going low 12's...the good 'ol days driven 150+ miles to and from the track.

c u at N vs S. i am assuming you'll have it there. although you have been pretty darn quiet about how well yours is running i can't imagine it is "slower"

I should have it there...hoping to fix the cam-sync issues with the stuff I'm getting tomorrow and it's only a 5-minute swap.

I think I'm supposed to run ls1matt at that event during the testing session. Should be a blast!

I wish I lived closer. Would love to meet up the LS1 Tech crowd again - only one I have been able to make is the Thunder in Nov 2004. God that is 2 years ago already. With gas prices and 800+miles in each direction, just not in the cards right now.

Good luck to you guy.

David
