Default First Runs w/'New' Car

well, i've had my car for a little over 3 months and i finally took it to Atco Raceway. i've only been to the track one other time. that was with my 3.4L firebird - ran a 16.7 @ 80mph

my buddy called me at work last night to go so it was really impromptu. i had time to take out my spare tire, jack, amp and sub, but i still had a mostly full tank of gas (at LEAST 10 or 11 gallons). not to mention full tire pressure, etc...

the weather was problematic. it looked like it wanted to rain the whole time. there was sometimes lightning and it would stop everything. luckily, we didn't get a drop of rain. there is no temperature on my timeslip, i guess it wasn't working, but i assume since it looked like rain it was near 100% humidity. the temperature FELT like high 60's. it was getting chilly around 9pm. i only got to run twice because of the weather

here are my two timeslips:

60'............2.088
330...........5.856
1/8...........8.896
MPH..........81.42
1000.........11.458
1/4...........13.606
MPH..........104.93

60'............2.122
330...........5.866
1/8...........8.892
MPH..........81.69
1000.........11.452
1/4...........13.602
MPH..........104.96

a 2.0 60' on a lid/catback A4 with 2.73's made me smile

all in all i felt i did pretty well. God bless 2.73's. you really don't spin at all, just peel out a little

congrats, 13.30s in 40degree air are more than possible with a better 60' like a 1.99.
