First time to the track with new Trans Am
About a month ago I bought a used 2000 Trans Am, Automatic, loaded.
Took it to the track for the first time tonight hoping for 13.5's.
First run 13.91 @ 102.13 w/ 2.22 60'
Second run 13.69 @ 103.40 w/ 2.16 60'
Third run 13.41 @ 104.12 w/ 2.06 60'
Foruth run 13.38 @ N/A w 2.04 60'
Final run 13.41 @ N/A w/ 2.03 60'
Not bad for 100% stock running on 245/50/16 Kumho Ecsta ASX Tires.
Small burn out each time. Pretty much no spin at all.
So how does this compare?
Thanks

Thanks. I hadnt been to the drag strip in over 3 years. It was like starting fresh again. So much stuff got my attention in the beginning I forgot to focus on the task at hand. As I made a few passes I calmed down and got better. On the first run my reaction time was almost .700 and I had traction control on also which bogged down and started in 2nd gear. But i was very happy.
