is there something wrong I am finally getting around to asking this, but when I took my car to the drag strip for the first time this fall (it was bone stock, and i think the origional 42k mile olf filter), and i ran a 13.74 at 100 mph. now to me the et sound about right, but the mph sounds a little slow for an ls1. does this mean my car is really down on power? i read all the time that people get their cars to around at least 103-104 mph. also, the air quality was pretty good that day.

Depends on what your DA was for that run. What was the 60ft? Typically for a stock A4 LS1 it may be a tad on the low side. My wifes car went 13.68@101 (2.13 60ft) when it was stock. Clean or get a K&N filter and check the plugs and run it again.
But then again I don't think the 99's came with the LS6 intakes like later years did.

No, sadly we got the LS1 
. Now about the DA, I think it was around 600' that day. My 60' was right at 2.01, so not too bad. Also on my last run wihich was the same as all the others I borrowed a friends DR's, but there wasn't an improvment in my 60' or my mph. I didn't even improve my ET!

no i have an SS, so i have 3.23's. also, when i launched on the dr's, i did exactly as the guy who owned em said to do. he runs low 11's btw, so i listened to him. and on the street tire runs, my 60' was the same as the dr's, but on street tires i was slipping. i even preloaded the right way and everything, lemme post up the videos i have of the runs.
