I still say stock is stock if my vote counts. Buying a souped up special order is not stock. Buying a better model than the next guy is just another model if it's from GM. Factory mods are still mods, one of a kind cars can't be stock, if it's not on the standard order sheet, it's not a standard feature. COPO, Shelby, Motion, Yenko, lingenfelter ect are not stock. Pulling a bunch of weight is also doing a mod.
What's the big deal anyway, people always lie about their set up.
There's too many so called records anyways. In my opinion.

stock is slow, modded is fast...how about that for a straight answer? if i've seen a stock ls1 run faster than you, you may as well be stock so it really doesnt matter to me is what i'm trying to say...
