last time I went to Atco was about 3-4 weeks ago, the track wasn't hooking for crap but just the day before my friend was there and he was getting great 60's. Usually Atco is good, I think I was just there on an off day.

I was at Etown 2 weeks ago and the track was prepped very well...

Went last night to Atco to test the new CARTEK clutch design. The 60' was hooking well, but up track was a different story. It was very hit or miss.

Out of 3 all out passes I was trying VERY hard to keep the car strait on two of them. All three all-out passes had good 60's [1.44 1.44 and 1.42] but two out of the three the car was all over the track. On my last pass my rear left tire touched the centerline, I think I pooped a little on that run and my GF nearly passed out. Being the crazy *** that I am I did not let out and ran 10.53 @ 130+ but it was NOT a fun ride.

The 60' at Atco is always good, but when you have a lot of street tired cars running the uptrack is just aweful!

yeah, it hooks well at the line, but becomes an ice rink up track.

well I'm going to a track rental at atco on Tuesday so I hope they prep the big end. last time i was there, like I mentioned above, traction was REAL hard to come by past the 60' mark.
