my car is a turd took my car to atco tonight...me and another guy from this board (Demonicbird00) did a few little things to my car to see what would happen. the car has a 22x/22x cam, ls6 intake, 241 heads, volant cai, slp longtubes, magnaflow catback, 4.10s, sfc, lca's, adj trq arm, adj panhard rod, aftermarket front sway, strut tower brace, svo 30 pnd inj, cartek tune, (382hp/357trq), pro 5.0, backseat delete. with those mods it went...

60' ... 2.071
330 ... 5.769
1/8 ... 8.680
mph ... 85.05
1000 ... 11.166
1/4 ... 13.237
mph ... 109.89
All of those mods were already on the car, now last night we took off the smog pump(wasnt hooked up...just dead weight), front sway, and strut tower brace, those were the little things we did, and the car went...

yes i know that the car need tires which will get me better 60's but isnt my mph really low? shouldn't i be able to hit 12's at around 113-115 with those mods? or should i listen to every one else and just get tires. let me know what you think.

im not power shifting it due to the trans but im shifting at 62k. and yea last night was soooo crowded. i only got that one run then i left. i maybe could have hit 12.9 if i ran again. but i dont understand why im not hitting 12s with a 2.0 60'.

your mph is actually really good mine at times similar to those were only 104mph.but im an a4.as said above 111 is mid to low 12s.

yea and the other weird thig is that i can come out of the hole pretty good in first gear...its second that gives me the problem. it just blows the tires away and kicks the *** end out and i have to pedal it. would the car still make the mph and power that i have with a bent pushrod?

yea...i dont drop the clutch and the car is not my d/d so im not to worried about it. in fact if it broke it would just inspire me to put a 9in in that much quicker.
and yea if you look at my 8th mile time and mph...they are horrible. it looks like the 8th mile is where im getting held up. hopefully anyway.

i just let someone else drive the car. they said something is up with it. its not all there. and there is a loud valvetrain noise. im just gonna park it and let it rot. i quit.

i had consistant 112mph trap speeds with my old car - full weight, 6spd, headers, open y-pipe, nittos, 4.10
that was with a stock ls1 intake and no tune - only pulling 1.85-1.95 60' times
i'd say your mph should be atleast 115 with a 22x cam............
but yea - get some tires - that'll help alot regardless.
