Default Vindicator cam only results...

Well, here are the track numbers.

Best 2 passes of the day were both 11.71's. MPH were 120.92 and 121.02

60fts for each were 1.71 (bog) and 1.78 (sliping).

All runs granny shifted. Clutch combo wont let me power shift.

No matter how hard I left I could not get into the 1.6's. Launch technique was a fast drop between 5000 and 5500 rpm.

Shift light came on at 6600.

Full weight 17inch MT Dr's

How can I get this 60ft down without compromisng the handling it currently has? Thoughts? Video below.

VERY impressive considering full weight and the numbers it put down. Car actually backs it up

Any gears? You're bogging pretty good off the line so I'm guessing 3.42's.

4.10's is what I have. I didn't think I should bog with them like in the video, maybe I should step up the gear (4.30)? Was hoping to spray after the summer on these tires (26 in).

Thats pretty good I think being full weight with the big 17's all around. Some good heads & a good 60 will get your car LOW 11's pretty easy.

Did you have to cut the pistons to install this cam?

congrats on both new numbers, with practice youll go lower times.

it seems hard to bog of the line since you have full exhaust and 4.10s to boot. your prolly not going WOT fast enough off the line.

Congrats on the times.
I don't know what your suspension setup is like right now but I pulled a 1.81 with Bilstiens, Jamex springs, BMR sways, 3.73s and 17" FM5s. It was my first time out with the BFG DRs too. I know they have some high to mid 1.7s in them if my clutch will hold out from all the slipping.

Seeing what the MTs can do I'd say your car should do a 1.6 if you can keep the RPMs up a little more when launching. Have you tried playing with the tire pressure or slipping the clutch?

Actually Brandon, I think I have a slow throttle foot when its leaving. Had this issue with my mustang until I got a 2-step.

I was gonna experiment with slipping the clutch during the afternoon but kept dropping it. Seems like I have to do something from the start of day or else my mind wont let me change it.

plenty of speed, I'd think with additional traction and a little more practice you'll find the 1.6 60 foot range!

Good luck!

Glad to see some track results with this cam! Like someone asked, did you have to cut the pistons to get the cam to fit?

Nope, no need to cut the pistons with stock heads.
