Now i can get the car up to about 3300 on the foot brake before it starts trying to push throught the beams.I tried a couple different launch rpm's the only thing i didn't try was launching off idle. When i ordered the Converter they told me it would be kinda a pig on the motor but i think it should be able to get better than a 1.8 60'.Or are the SportLines hurting me that bad?Was thinking of throwing in my stock springs and takeing out the front sway bar.
What do you guys think???????

1) Get rid of the front sway bar - you'll get better weight transfer
2) Get a better rear-end - at least gears - 3.42???? - besides your stocker isn't going to last long if you do dead-hook
3) I know a lot of people footbrake, BUT a trans-brake is so cool.
4) Do you have front adjustable shocks? What are your settings on the rear shocks?
5) Your rear springs may be hurting you. You can always switch them out - not very hard to change them out.
6) Your stock T/A is also not helping you much. A good after market one - IMO MadMan and Wolfe make some of the best out there.
7) A good "anti-sway" bar would help
Are you spinning off the line?
You have a cam-only car? 12.4 not all that bad. Any weight reduction?
How far do you want to go? What are you goals? Street, drag, street/drag?
A lot of questions need to be answered before a whole lot of help can be given.

I have a 3500 (on the brake) nitrous converter and it sucks on motor. Once I sort out the susp. it may go 1.6s, but on motor I usually bog to a 1.7. On the spray the converter is great. Pulls and flashes fantastic even on a 100 shot.
Run the car how you designed/spec'd the parts. I'm guessing you spec'd a converter for a 200 shot? That means the converter wants another 200hp to be in peak range.
I wouldn't stall it all the way up to the pushing the beams point, as it doesn't allow the converter to "flash" and you'll just push through the beams instead of launching from them. Try stalling somewhere about 1700-2200 rpms and see how that works.
Good luck!

I don't think it was spinning but maybe a little.Looks like may be i spun the right rear a 1" on the rim.Just kinda figured that it would be more like a 1.6 60'

I switched out converters, and also went from a 26" tire to a 28" tire. My 1/8th mile et when from 7.95 to 7.20 and mph went up significantly.
I would take a long hard look at the converter...
