Default Trapping at 127

Drag radials on the street, on a G-tech I ran a 11.3 @ 127. Any idea on how I should run at the track? My 60 ft. was 1.9 and spinning pretty good. I know it is a g-tech but I'm beating some pretty fast cars with it. Pulling hard on some big block drag cars on the big end. The closest track for me is 3 1/2 hours away.

well what is your setup? It is hard to say what you MIGHT run unless we know what kind of power you are making or atleast what your combo is.

If you can get traction and cut a 60' in the 1.5 range you should be running mid-high 10s

127 mph fully hooked up (1.50 or better 60 foot) should net you 10.50s-10.60s. Only way to tell for sure is take it to the track and find out!

Before my turbo, my G-Tech showed me at 12.7. At the track I ran a 12.8.

*Edit* I re-read the post. I thought you were asking abou the G-Tech vs. real times. I see that you meant with good traction.

I think the G-Tech is real close. I used mine to practice my 60' times.

What bothers me is you know your h.p. to the wheels, was that a dyno? Yet you're 3-/2 hr. from a drag strip, you''re running 127 mph on the street, and you're beating other BIG BLOCK drag cars. Where do you live, Alaska, I might gather some friends and build a track.

A buddie of mine has a cam only car w/ a 150 shot that has ran a 10.34@128 mph so i would run around a 10.50. only one way to find out for sure. go to the track.

I live in the U.P. of Michigan and the closest track to me is in Kakauna,WI. (Or 210 miles) Wisconsin International Raceway. I took my car to Speed inc. to get tuned, that was 7 hours one way. We race up here at an old military airstrip, basically street racing. We don't have a timing system and with a new baby in the house it's hard to get away. I had to wait till the end of first gear to hit the bottle because my drag radials will not hook anymore, I was still spinning and my g-tech read 11.3 @ 127. Yes there was two big block cars that are track only cars and I was probably 8 to 10 mph faster on the big end. So I was just wondering how accurrate the new g-techs are.
