Its not bad, not great, but the weather might of had an effect on you. With a 150 shot stall 3.73s and ET streets my car went 7.0 1/8th mile, was never sprayed at the 1/4

When I was SI the best I ran on a 100 shot was a 7.0 1/8 and 1.49 60' with bolt-on's, 26" QTP, 3.23's, and a TCI 3500 stall. I think some 3.73 gears and a 3800 stall would make a world of difference.

You need a bigger converter. 3600-4000 with a hard hitting STR would make a world of difference IMO.

OK the stocker is dead. Are you going with a 9" or 12 bolt? If so just go with the 9" - IMO better gear selection (I have had both).

Before you decide on gears and tires, you'll need to know your HP. What RPM are you trapping at now?

I like it big!!! Bigger tires: 28"+; bigger stall: 4200; bigger gears: 4.10+

But again you'll need to decide on goals - 9's? 10's? You have the tranny (I assume you launch on trans-brake). You will want to leave a little room to up the shot from 100 to say 150 or 200.

My recommendation?: 9" with 4.10's (or even 4.30's) with 28x10.5x15 with a 4200 stall -- been there ran low 10's on stock bottom end.

Good luck

David

I think that cam would not be too nitrous friendly. 4.10s may be too much. You would have to rev it to high hell once you start going faster. 3.73s or 3.90s seam to work well on autos with N2O. I would go higher on the stall. What HP rating is that stall too at that stall speed? When shopping for A3 stalls, most manufacturers seam to rate them at 400hp so you may be ok. That DA is real high. You would have to compare an NA run with a N2O run at the same DA to see what you really gained.

You should pick up quite a bit with that. You may want to wait on the gears to see how the verter does. Also keep in mind, the more you pill it, the higher the verter will flash. Are you spraying out of the hole? Judging by your times your verter is very tight. You are trapping M6 mph for the ET.

I was flashing the converter from 1200 and the window switch is set at 3000.I'll try to get up a video,my mph was off from what i thought it would be maybe because of the weater?Last year with the M6 and Hot Cam and a 125 shot i went 11.6@122 with a 1.9 60' and was trapping 112 on the motor. This year my mph is a bout the same on the motor 111-113

Don't be affraid to hit it out of the hole. You would be surprised the effect on the 60' from the hole and from a few feet out. If your track sucks for prep, then don't even bother spraying it. Just a waste of N2O and gas if you ask me.
