Saw some great racing at the HeadsUp Madness race at Sunshine I went to the HeadsUp Madness race at Sunshine Dragstrip last night. The payout was $4000 to win in Drag Radial/Stock Susp so all the heavy hitters were there. There was also lots of competition in 10.5 and Pro Mod. Dave Reese set the Stock Susp track record with a 4.98 in 1st round after qualifying #1 w/ 5.01 he also ran 4.99 2nd round and 5.01 3rd. This was probably the fastest field ever in Drag Radial , there were many 5.2 cars that didn`t make it past 2nd round. The Monte Carlo of Shane Stack beat Reese`s Mustang in the final but that was at like 3:30am and I unfortunately left at 2:15.
