well air down your tires to about 18psi and are you doing a small burn out right before the run? you probably should if you arent. once you are at the light, get your rpms up around 2300 and once its green, ease into the gas pedal, but do it quickly. if you just punch it, it will spin for sure, so you have to be gentle with that throttle. let me know how it goes. you should be able to pull off some 2.1 60 fts. and get really close to 8.9 in the 1/8

M6 so all you can do is take it to the track and run it over and over experimenting until you get the launch down and get it the hang of getting down the track consistently. If it was mine though I'd get slicks and hit it hard just to have an excuse to buy a 9".

I have a 10 bolt and M6 and when the track is well prepared I launch at 3K w/ streets. So far, so good. Oh, and leave on the last amber light, not on the green.

What kind of street tires do you have. Yes the track had no prep at all. on sundays it is ususally only four wheelers and dirt bikes there so why bother.

I have a stock 28in tire. When the track doesn't stick, I launch around 2200-2500. I usually run 23lb pressure, but have run 18 w/ ever so slightly better 60's. Problem is the track doesn't have a compressor, so I rather run 23lbs so not to tear up the tires on the way home.

Well today i went to a back road and practiced launching. after a few times i noticed that i was hardly spinning at all....so it made me think of something. Saturday there was a big car show here in town. or i clean her up that morning. I took off all the wheels and cleaned them real good then put lots of tire shine on the whole tire.......then went to the track......sorry guys. i'm a dumb***
