Default New PB ET

Broke the 60' beam with the back tires for a 1.317 @ 9.562 @ 139.982. DA was +1975 on this pass.

1st pass spun badly to a 1.40 @ 9.69 @139.XX. After this pass I tightened the rear rebound 1/4 turn on the DA Afco's and lowered the tire pressure 1lb down to 11lbs.

2nd pass was the new best above.

3rd pass hooked fairly decent to a 1.295 @ 9.65 @ 139.17 DA went up 300 on this pass and I hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift. DAH

Engine is still running real good after about 100+ passes.

That's all. No Pics, No vids.

Yup, still fun John. Real fun.

Venom, yes I run NA.

David, I was bracket racing but these were the time trials. On the last time trial pass my oil pressure sending unit went bad. YIKES MY HEART STARTED PUMPING REAL FAST WHEN THE OIL PRESSURE WENT TO 0 on the return road. But it was only the sending unit.. AAHHHH Relief.

I couldn't take a chance and run without an oil pressure gauge so I put the car on the trailer.

That is weird. The same thing happened to me - twice in fact. Finally relocated the sending unit to under the cowl with a braided line. No problem since. It is one scary moment when you look down and see 0 oil pressure - and than realize (thank God) that the needle is on the other side of the 0. But I agree you can't take a chance. -- I carry an extra sending unit with me now

Good luck Tom.

David

Congrats on the new PB Tom, and in that DA no less! Hello 9.40s in cooler air

Bummer about the oil pressure but at least it was something small and not the engine!
