Default Got me a Wally.

We were racing at HRP on Saturday; it was also the 2nd to the last point’s race. Went 7 rds for the big National Dragster Challenge Win. I was in the final against my buddy Jay Robinson (the point’s leader). I only made 1 rd up on him for the 1/8 point's series championship. He is up 4 rds on me going into the last race Sept. 15th.

What a sweet day of racing, my Great friend Chuck Talley also won in Super Pro. You can check out cool pics from the race at http://www.ssracingphotos.com/photo_album17.4.html.

I want to think my wife (FEAR) LME, Madman/Thunder Racing, Conley's Performance, & my friends James & Sheila Day.

Coach

PS. I gave my Wally to my Dad for all the great things he has done for me in my life time.

Thats awsome, BIG congrats. You and Derek are probably the 2 best dragracers on this site (Steve Turley and KP are pretty good too). I think you and Derek are the only guys to have won a Wally.

Finally Coach, you are one racer I was hoping would have at least one Wally on the shelf. WTG on the win, bummer about the points but I'm sure the "little man" made the night a whole lot better.

I can understand the comment about your dad, as my father has raced since 1985 and not gotten a Wally yet (made the semis of the bracket finals twice), and it almost seems unfair that I have them and he doesn't.

Congrats, I'm proud of ya!

Congrats - Are you representing your track at the next level? Where do you need to go?

Now Jake and I will set back and read how I can't spell, walk, talk, spit, and seldom ever say anything positive here.

I misread your post in this thread....you guys have an footbrake 1/8th mile class and footbrake 1/4 mile class, correct?? And if I read the thread in the Texas section, you are leading the 1/4 class in No-E/Footbrake, right??

Either way, I am planning on hittin up Bracket Finals, depending upon whether or not I get King of the Track here in Lubbock. I just locked up Street Trophy Points for the year with the final race still left on Sept. 15th. But if I go, I def wanna stop by your pit and check out your car. Maybe we'll see ya there!!
