I took the car to the track on tuesday for the first time and got a best time of 13.562.
r/t... .453
60'... 2.087
330... 5.807
1/8... 8.798
mph... 82.90
1000... 11.374
1/4... 13.562
mph... 102.99
my question is if i get a better reaction time will this lower my et? thanks, Ryan

Reaction time doesn't effect your E.T. so don't sweat it. Torque converter and drag radials will probably drop half a second off your E.T.

thanks, my next mod is going to be some lt's, yank 3600, then some radials, hope that will get me into 12's.

I knew a guy that had those mods plus a K&N FIPK he ran consistant 12.6s.

As mentioned above, reaction time will not change your e.t. You could sit at the green for 10 seconds, but as long as you haven't moved from the beams, your elapsed time clocks have not started.

Not bad for stock times, get to modding!

To wring the best times out of a stock car, pay attention to the weather. Try to go to the track when the temperature is cool and the humidity is low. You'll pick up from that time with better conditions. My car loses 4-5 tenths from runs in mid summer. I don't even go to the track in the summer anymore. I go when the weather is cooler from say October til the tracks close and then once they open up til about March or April.

Ya im waiting on winter myself so i can get the best times out of my car..
But ya not to bad for stock times. My best stock or actually my first pass, was an 8.74 @ 84 haven't been again.

Im not stock but close, my best was a 12.87 at 109mph with headers, exhaust, lid, lowered 1 inch, short shifter. The temp was 88degrees, hoping for a 12.6 or 12.7 this weekend, temp going to be 70degrees
