a little dissapointed well i went to the track friday night to run my car. this is not my first time to the track, but it is the first time in something that was not a 6 banger or an auto. i had a pretty bad launch and spun through the 60' with a time of 2.1in the 60' and 12.9 @109 in the quarter. both times i ran i could smell the stock clutch after the run, not bad but it was there. the temp. was around 73 degrees outside and i was running 245 nittos at 15psi. everyone said i did alright for it being my first time in a car with power thats a 6 speed that ive only been driving for 6 weeks, but im still bummed. oh well theres always next season and maybe santa will bring me a new clutch and some mickeys.

So, you're not ready for PINKS or National TV yet?
What you do have is a benchmark now for your car. Don't lose your tickets. Mark that you ran so much air in your tires. Try something different the next time. Keep the same tire pressure lower the rpm's. Sometimes you improve sometimes you go backwards. This only proves you're no different than anyone else here.

What was the DA at the track? What RPM were you shifting at? I'd expect a solid roller setup to trap closer to 120. Get out there and get some seat time. It's amazing how much faster you'll go with more experience.
