Trap speed?
Trap speed? I finally put in a trans in my car overnight after having sit for almost a year. I ran it on a juice hit and my best time was a 12.2 with a 2.07 60' @ 118
Only mods are a catback, lid, a juice hit and shitty 555r DR's. No tune. My 60' have always been 2.2's, so this time it was an improvement, the tires were almost bald and at 35 psi, I dropped them to 28 psi and pulled a 2.065, there the same tires I would pull the 2.2's on only a year ago.
Does the trap speed mph sound about right for the et? Just wonderin.

Car should be in the 11s with a 2.0 or better 60 foot time. 118 mph is a middle 11 second time, possibly lower 11s with a great driveline and 1.5X or better 60 foots.

Thanks, the 60' is what I was tryin to get down, but then I got carried away with the juice. I' going to look into the suspension mods now. I'm going to start with maybe koni or qa1 for the front and comp's for the rear, then lca, and then subframe connectors. More down the line I'll look into panhard, and torque arm. Or am I going in the wrong order?lol

That sounds about right judging by the 60' and lack of tire. I imagine you had to check your wheel spin in the first couple gears with some throttle modulation.
Suspension will help a little but it would just be putting a band aid on your traction problem. I think stepping up to an ET street radial or better since 6 speeds shock the tire so hard.

It's an A4. auto, with a stock stall. So you think if I just setp to a MT et that should drop the 60'? I was running worn down the middle like a ****, 18" DR's wrapped around c5 wheels.
