Single Turbo Ls2 1/8 mile run in TN
Here is a Good Freind of mines car.. he is not the computer guy so .. i thought i would post this up.. He just bought a LSX Warlock block ..and goodies to build a new motor for this new turbo he got..
Here is a insert from one of his chassis guys
Took the car out saturday to brainerd with the new larger T6 framed turbo as well as all the weight savings from the new chassis work and cage. The tune in the car was for the old small frame t4 turbo so a couple datalog and tune test hits were made. The first pass with the boost controller set on 18psi, and the front travel limiters allowing 2.5 inches of travel equaled alot of tireshake as the big turbo spooled in INSTANTLY. After reviewing the datalogs even with the wastegate set at 18psi we were overboosting due to the huge amount of airflow seen thru the motor with the larger turbo, the old wastegate just couldnt cut it
Our last pass the car left "Easy as sunday morning" then as the boost hit carried the tires again LOL.

I don't want to insult anyone, but if I guessed I would expect to see 8:40 to 8:20's in the 1/4 out of that in 1/8. Do you have kite, ie chute, on it? I didn't look at the pictures.
Nice ride keep it up be safe A grumpy sometimes angry old man and his dog - Jake

That thing is no joke. My guess is if you run at a 1/4 mile track, the lack of a parachute won't be the only problem. That cage doesn't look like a 25.5 (7.50). Awesome car. Goodluck.

Brainard Optimist is in Georgia, just south of Chattanooga.
But that vid isnt taken there unless they put a regular tree back on the line, they had that weird board thing last time I was there. After looking at it I guess it could be Brainard with a different tree

Nothing wrong with the track, I've always run well there. Missed DFT this year though, just bad timing but I'll be there this year for an index race or two maybe.
