428RWHP un-locked 3,700 foot brake to 2,800 went 11.47@118 1.59 60ft

600RWHp Un-locked hit the Converter to 5,700 and went 10.05@136 1.45 60ft tapping the rev limiter at the 1,100 mark. 3.73s and 27in tires un-locked not worikng for me

LIL SS this is a Good Thread!
My car put down around 430/381 thru a locked converter, but I haven't had a chance to run it yet. This thread also gives me some ideas of what it could do, or has the potential to do as far as ETs and trap speeds.

I ran the truck out last night on the street. According the the gtech pro I cut a 2.1x 60' and went 12.4x @ 115.7 mph locked converter in second at 7,2xx rpm through the mufflers. I didn't have time to put any VHT down, but I have cut 1.9x's on the street with a half pedal out of the hole. It's hard to hook this 63 pick up on the street..

My g-tech pro has been track tested on 10+ passes 2 different days and every one it read between .0x - .10x slower than the timers at the track and .0x-1.0x mph slower than the track with 60's off no more than .00x.

So with that I should hopefully see 116mph at the track. Before I was cutting 1.87-1.91 60's with a 3,200 verter and the 26" tire. With the 4,400 and 30" tire, I'm hoping to cut at least 1.7's.

Thoughts...

My car weighs about 3750, its a pig. As far as rwhp, I've been on a few dynos and don't put much faith in any of them as I've had readings from 390 to 450 unlocked with no significant changes to the car. I run 11.4s with 1.5 60ft times pretty consistently with the current setup, but the car can definitely do better with some tweaking (or a diet).

469 rwhp unlocked on a 175 shot = burned valve @ track, fuel pump didn't cut it. Scaled down to 125 shot = 11.07 @ 123

It has also been retuned and ran better on motor. I haven't had it back on the dyno, but guess in the 430 rwhp range on the 125 shot, full weight 3600# with driver and 5/8 tank of 93 octane gas.

FYI.. At 430 locked, 3,850 with half tank of gas, best pass was a 11.95 @ 113 with a 1.678 sixty foot.

Forged 347 11.1 cr
ABS heads
Trex
Edelbrock 1 7/8 HVMC headers
ASP pulley
LS6 intake with ported TB
4L80E
4,400 fuddle

I think it will go a little faster if I can tighten up the front end some. It's lifting the front left every pass and when it does, you can see in the data loger that it then spins the tire a little.

It did do the numbers in the sig though on a small hit.
