Last year i went 8.2 at 90mph with a 2.+60ft with bolt ons and 4.10s on street tires. This year ive got suspension, 9in and skinnys and slicks hopin for mid 7s. your mph seems kinda low for a cammed car, but without specs cant say too much

the mph seems low for a cammed car. my bolt-on a4 car went 87-88 in the 1/8 @ 3,600lbs. 7.6-7.7 1/8 mile ET with a mid-high 1.6 60'.

Something is awry your MPH is low for a cammed car. I trapped 85, full weight with just a lid, full exhaust and tune, everything else '98 stock.

I can't watch the video here at work, but did you blow the tires off on the 1>2 shift? If you didn't then there is something definitely wrong, with my mods I went sideways on two of my four runs on the 1>2 shift on new street tires at the track.

I have an a4 and toward the end of the track my car is just feeling like its starting to go good. Also i have to baby it so bad coming out of the hole that i dont get to give it WOT until im well and going, but even then i would break sometimes. I think my stock manifoldes and stock exhaust is holding me back....plus the street tires.

with that 60 you prolly had DR and could get moving out of the hole quicker. Not so much here. i dont get to lay down on it for a ways down the track. Also my race weight was 3740....I need to lose some pounds

honestly.. you dont HAVE to get a tune with headers.. if your low on money... of course its a good idea.. but low budget..........

yea.. if you get geaders and a y.. you should pick up around 4 tenths... and should trap about 2-3 mph faster...

still though... bolt on car should be running 7.8 or so.... trapping about 87.... granted you have radials.... with about a 1.6

I guess my biggest problem was my 60 so i need some DR and that should give me a better 60 and more track to get the MPH up.

Eagle f1's arent going to help your times. Thats a tire for handling. Dont expect to do any better.
