Great job getting that car ready to race on Sunday and glad you didn't hurt the motor again in the final.

With all that crap going on and to still have the car running #'s like it did, there's got to be a good bit left. Whenyou're busy fixing, it's hard to try to work on improving.

I'l bet there's at least 2 tenth's and 15 mph left in the car when it's all said and done, congrats!

Sounds like some sponsers on here need to send them a "couple" of new sets of heads ready to go so they can be better prepared for the next event. These guys deserve some much needed help to promote the LS platform

Too bad they are not running an LSx engine... it's a Big Block Chevy.

And if you want to get really technical, it's actually a 93-97 model just with a 98+ front clip.

Perhaps it was smart MM to have the Rev limiter shutting down at 1,000' when you look at the damage you did to the head. Would have been a shame not to have been able to fix the head.

The rev limiter is what caused the head gasket to blow. The limiter hurt more than it helped.

Yeah, riding the limiter never helps! LOL Congrats on the weekend, its always fun to thrash and at least have it be worth it! Thrashing and going out first round is the suck, but last one out aint a bad deal!

Is shannon able to get that thing down the track for th first 660 or they just keeping it soft Brian? Id put money on the guy in front at the 330 everytime!
