On the 12.79 pass it had a full tank of gas, and the car did not cool down. The weather was the same. The front sway bar did help the 60' alittle but it helped the 330' drop alot. We let the car cool and put ice on it. The 12.79 pass was the first day of me driving the car with the headers. I also tried different shift points and found that 5500 was the best. Also found the dropping the clutch was what worked the best, not riding it like I always do. So 50hp was not what caused the increase, seat time and weight did.

Dude your still not getting it, and to me it seems like you are trying way to hard to convince us... Removing the front swaybar does help but your still not getting it. If he pulled a 1.79 60ft he should have run faster than 12.5. My buddy with a cam and full bolt ons would run a 12.6 at 114 with a 2.2 60ft.

Let me give you alittle bit of help here. 1tenth in the 60' SHOULD be 2tenths up top. So if your buddy (who only went a 12.50 in a cam only car)got a 1.7 60' he should go a 11.50's right were alot of cam only car go. Some of you just need to get some seat time and stop calling bs on everthing.

The haters are just to funny, for those that just are trying to believe, I feel yea.

Either you're a complete retard or your just not reading these posts. Nobody gives a **** about your ET. Your ET is fine and some people have done as good or better with less mods. It's the stupid high MPH at the 1/4 that don't add up with your mods or with the 1/8 MPH. That's what everyone is calling BS on. Seat time don't make a ******* bit of difference in the MPH. Spin, bog, whatever as long as you don't miss a gear MPH will be relatively the same.

A full tank of gas is only 120-130 lbs. Sway bar and brackets maybe 10 lbs. So if you went from a completely full tank on the 109mph pass to an empty tank. We're talking 2 MPH at best.

Icing the intake is an effective way to make more power. Again at most 1 MPH gain, though the weather was still shitty.

Together at best you're going 112, which is believable. But you're going 2.5 MPH more. So pretty much what your saying is that on a cool dry day everything the same on the car you could pull ~116.

Just quit arguing about the damn ET. It's not in question.

Jon

Thats not nice to call people names like retard. It's not that seirous. So CALM DOWN like I said before it's my car and I'm happy with it that's all that matters. We only posted because we were happy how fast(MPH) the car went and boy was that a mistake. I have the time slip and no scanner, even then some of you wouldn't believe it, but I could really give a sh*! if anybody believes it or not. I'M HAPPY but I did have fun posting back and forth I just don't think I'll ever post my cars time again. lol

A 1.7 does not automatically mean an 11.5, it means a 1.7

A 1.7 short time will result in a variety of track times. That said, a 1.7 in a nearly full weight 4th gen M6 car with some boltons will run mid 12's.

114mph is a little strong for the mods listed but I won't bash the time, but it's true that most cars with those parts would run 112mph.

I understand what some of you are saying. But I got that mph twice and 113 twice. Any of you live in MD or VA come on out tonight, and see how it is on the street. So all of the record setting Vettes(c5z06, c6z06) that run here are off too, so the record setting Real Street cars are off also. What about the MIROCK record setting Motorcycles, they are off also right. Come on give it a break. So only my passes was off?

Well when someone is calling BS on your MPH and all that you do is post about ET, what does that say. Either your not reading the posts or you can't comprehend them.

So you posted because the MPH is unbelievably high and you got what is expected from unbelievable results. Unbelievers.

You don't have to post the slip, I don't think anyone is saying that you're lying about what the slip says. I'm sure it says 114.54. I just don't believe the clocks are right. I would even believe the 1/4 mph if the 1/8 was 89 or better. So maybe the 1/8 MPH is erred on the low side, who knows.

And lastly, I'm sure you won't post your results next time because after the reset their compulink system you'll never see 114 again without more mods.

I would love to see your results next time out. Please continue to post them. I mean if you can't take a little **** talking you shouldn't be racing.

Jon

Were there record setting passes the night that you were there? Do you think that electronics are always right? Just because it's right most of the time, don't mean it's right all of the time. **** does happen, I have had runs that I know are not right, but it showed up on my timeslips, and I continue to tell those results. I just wouldn't argue against if it were in question.

Jon
