disappointed with E.T how do i hook up ???
today at a local strp i ran a 12.86 at 119 with a terrible 2.1 60ft my car transfers so good and hooks hard as hell on the street and it allows me to beat cars that have a considerably amount more power then me but today kind of pissed me off i spun through 3rd gear I no my runs are harder on the street then the track do I just need to get some slicks or is that time not as bad as I think

actully I dropped my nittos down to 20 psi and it helped somewhat but the track was filthy mahybe thats why I couldnt hook but it still pissed me off I just wanted a little reassurance that my car really runs better then that
also sounds liek a dumb question but what size slicks are the best for our cars

If the gear, posi and axles are in a 10 bolt it won't last long on sticky tires. I know several people that tried building 10 bolts for their M6 cars and within dozen or so passes on stickies they broke them. Just warning you though I'm sure you know.
I got about 10 clutch dumps of 5K+ rpms out of my stock 10 bolt with 4.10 gears before I snapped an axle! And that was with a mild bolt on car. I now have a 12 bolt and a few more mods but haven't been to the track in almost 3 years.

Yeah, at your power level you are indeed playing "roulette", especially with DRs, but i will bet anything if its hooking good on the street, it should still hook good at the track, now you said the track was filthy, that would explain your traction issues, don't they prep it or clean it? Are local track is one of the best tracks i've been on in awhile, they keep it clean & prepped good.
