Hey guys, I figured you would know best. I want to run my truck at the local track. Just one thing. I would like to try different combos, like no tailgate, vs tailgate vs tailgate down. This may be a stupid question but, when I take off the tailgate do i just leave it on the ground somewhere or do I get a "stall" or what, I dont want my tailgate lifted while i make a run.

I'd try to leave it somewhere that has other truck/trailer parked there or where there are other cars so it won't be left unattended for long. I'd think no one would snag a tailgate while you make runs, but I've had stuff stolen at the track before

Yea, thats what I was worried about, but those tailgates are easy enough to steal even on the truck anyway. Thanks for the help.
