168 MPH
Just back from the track, and Wade ran a 8.68@168 MPH yesterday at 3240lbs, the track wasn't there but the power was! We got rained out today, so more to come in the next few weeks. BTW, we went 1.35 best 60', for all you chassis experts out there.

Re: 168 MPH
The video I have of the 8.68 run from qualifing looked pretty wild, the car 60 footed soft but pulled up pretty hard. I haven't seen the front come up that high for a while. It has been pretty damn humid, so a new record seemed unlikely. Looks like we have to wait a little longer for the cool weather
The good side is that Wade set and official OSCA True Street record and with those 25 record points it doesn't matter what happens now, because he has the championship bagged and tagged Well done this year ARE and Wade.
Nice job guys

Hey there 8sec30th! Has the shop doing! Thanks for all the great comments guys. It took every ounce of sweat and determination from the whole crew at ARE to build such a succesfull motor (and car combination) that we are now pulling out, refreshing, and getting it ready for some other crazy SOB!

the shop is getting there. we wish we had some extra cash to ****** that beast out of your hands up there. it's a great combo you have there and someone will be very lucky to have it! good luck with selling it.
