Re: Please keep in your prayers
I just talked to Joe, he is still in the hospital but doing ok, he still has no feeling in his left side and they are running test and all on him to see whats going on, he should be back home in a day or two. He said to tell everyone he has no internet access to keep everyone informed but Kristi and I will update until he gets to feeling better.
Just think, with him being off work all the extra time he will have to spend on the computer.

I just got home from visiting Joe in the hospital. They are pretty sure he has a blood clot on his brain and the pressure is what caused him to lose all sensation and most motor skills in the left side of his body. Today was full of tests and scans and an MRI. Tomorrow they should be able to tell him the results and what they will do from here. Hopefully it will just be a matter of disolving the clot.
Honestly, he is very depressed about being so immobile and dependent on other people for even the simplest little things, but he is ready to get the ball rolling on pinpointing the problem and fixing it. He said that tomorrow he's going to really grill the doctors about what they need to do and when they can start. He said he is willing to go through whatever it takes, but he is NOT ready to give up driving his truck and drag racing, so just FIX IT!!!!
He's supposed to call me tomorrow as soon as he talks to the doctors and knows more. I'll let you guys know. He does not have internet access there but he hopes to bet online some way or another in a few days. I offered to bring him his laptop but he has satellite service at home and doesn't think he can connect via the phone line with it.
By the way, he is harassing the nurses like a champ. He met 2 new ones while I was there and his first questions were, "Whats your name?" and "Are you married?" ... not that it would matter if they were.

does he have Starband satelite service? If so he can dial up. Let me know via e-mail and I'll look up the particulars.
