10 pt roll cage ?'s

I have installed most of the 10 point cage in my car, my question is, where to put the 2 little bars that go from the main hoop down to the frame or subframe connectors? Obviously we don't have frames, and the SFC's are nowhere near close to being able to be tied in that way? Do I put 2 more 6x6 plates on the floor in the back seat area? Or to the trans tunnel with plates? Pics would be great.
Assuming it is installed correctly, what e.t. is a 10 point good to?
What else do I need for a proper cert?
Window net, 5 point harness, Drive shaft loop, SFI flexplate, wheels studs, fire jacket, helmet, parachute.
Anything else? Looking to be legal to 8.50's

I put those bars right where the rear seat brackets were, and welded a plate to the floor there.

You will also need a tranny scattershield or a SFI approved case (dedenbar glide case) License, battery shutoff, you won't need the chute unless you've roing over 150 mph, you will need gloves, shoes aren't required but are a good idea, if I can think of anything else I will post it up.

I was thinking of that, did you just drill out the welds for the factory brackets, then just weld the 6x6 plates there?
The scattershield might be a PITA, what are guys using, TH400?

My Alston cage is done with plates to the trans tunnel and the "kicker" bars run there.

For the transmission, I have a 400 with a JW Ultrabell (replaces flexplate shield) and an RCI trans blanket.

CSR th400 shield, it fits no problem, tight but it fits.

I just cut the metal off where it came up off the floor, ther'es probably 4 oz of them left. An air chisel would probably pop the welds right off.
