Default Vitor Jr. Filter setup

Ive asked in a couple other sections, so have a few other members. No one can seem to be able to give a good answer to the questions. How would I run a filter on top of a vic jr with carb style TB? Take a look at the pic and let me know if there are any tried and true methods on making this work. Thanks.

extreme velocity carb hat. You have to trim the hood a little, but no big deal. Though not sure about the victor. It's a little taller than the gmpp, which is what I run.

I am not going to be running an elbow so that first setup is not going to work. The filter only is what Im planning on but I just need to see some pics of what everyone else has been doing.

I don't see any other option. There is simply not enough clearace with your wiper cowl to use a old style round carb air cleaner.

So you don't need to plumb in the MAF, and IAT?

If that's the case, Edelbrock makes a small foam filter that should fit there.

Yeah the wipers are going to have to go without a doubt. The inside of the hood is going to get cut out as well. Maybe Ill just bite the bullet and fab up an elbow this winter. As much as I dont want to that might be the way to go.

Carb tray from Summit, a little L channel and a flat filter. That is what I had planned before the turbo. It is low and will flow enough.
