Just wanting to see what people is launching at in there bolt on ls1's and what people think would be a good rpm to launch at on verry good prepped track.... with

M/T et Streets
Stock rear end
Stock drive shaft
Bolt ons, and spray....

LS1 by the way!

Hmmm...stock rearend..idle

If you want it to last...if not then dump it around 4-4500

just dump it 5k rpm if u break somthin just a reason to buy a better one

I launch at 5k on a badly prepped track, I would like to try 5500 but the track wouldnt hold that one.

I say 4000 but take the slack out of the clutch were you don't have the line pressure built up it take alot of the sudden impact off the rear.

well i was on the track last weekend tried launching at about 2500 to 3k and snapped a drive shaft.... so now i have another drive shaft in, you think 3k would be ok on stock parts....
and slack, do you mean bring my clutch pedal out to right about were its going to grab then drop it???

that driveshaft must have had a ton of miles on it...you don't usually hear that very often

yea 3k is good thats about where i launched my car only cuz the street tires but it was still ok anything under that was a bad bog
