Fire system users: Foam Or Halon/FE 36?
It depends on what you are fighting.. AFFF works excellent with Fuel Fires.. I've put out Fuel Fires on a flat surface in a matter of seconds. Applied correctly, it creates the Blanket and smothers the Fire.
Halon is pretty much working it's way out of the Fire Dept., for the nature of Fire that occures with a Crash, expecially with Gas/Fuel and other types of combustible liquids, I would prefer Dry Chem.
