Well, Mike Brown just went 9.97 with a stock bottom end Incon car. Didn't EastSide or someone allegedly (no flames) spray the living **** out of a stock bottom to go 9.8s or something?

I have a stock bottom end, and am loading it for bear with the new rearend, tranny, suspension, and the larger slicks.
I talked to Mark @ Raging Motorsports about a new set of Stage2 heads, and a better cam. Next spring I wanna shot at stock bottom end record. This year is a bust, the car just cant seem to get finished.

9.97 by Mike Brown is the record. I bet he runs 9.8's before the end of the year.
Been in the 10.5x's the last three times out at Stanton and Grand Bend this summer on the stock bottom end (N/A)...other than the converter, the trans even has the original trans fluid 'cause I'm lazy on some things.
PSJ, come over to M8 on 10/25 at Stanton...if it's dry, I'll be there BEFORE the gates open. Will you have your beast up and running again by then? Take care.

We went 10.16 with chuck yates car lil more than two years ago I beleive. 218/218 cam, 150 shot, and shutting the nitrous offf at 5200 rpm because he lost the 6000 pills
After it dropped #8 cylinder, we went from 10.60 to 10.40s leaving off the tbrake with the nitrous so nines woulda been easy with all 8. Someone should bust 9.8s WIDE open.
We may be hunting later this year with a stock bottom end and twice the nitrous for some fun

Went 9.89 @ 136.86 tonight.
Slip reads:
1.44 -60'
6.33 -1/8
111.17- 1/8mph
9.89 -1/4
136.86 -1/4mph
No changes have been made to the car since the 9.97. Just good cold air.
I believe I have over 70 passes on the short block. With this setup. This year. Still can't believe she is holding on.

I'll be travelin' back to Jersey the week of Oct.6th.... The ECS boys will be runnin' the Green monster at the ECS Corvette Challenge on Saturday Oct11th @E-Town... If your in the area, Stop by and say HEY!!!
P.S. They added a full cage and still netted a 140# weight savings in the most recent round of mods....plus a little extra tuning...should be good for some 9.5-9.6 with the good cool air
