Fastest stock 4th gen AUTO????
Both of my stepbrothers have run high 12's with stock auto cars. One is a 98 TA w/ 2.73 gears and went 12.97, and the other is a 99 TA w/ 3.23's and has run 12.7's. The 98 has a flowmaster replacement muffler only. The 99 is running stock exhaust with a straight pipe in place of the muffler(homemade loudmouth basically) and I did a liittle tuning on it. Everything else on the cars is stock down to the paper airfilter.
We do get very good air here and the track is 12 feet above sea level, so that is a definite advantage.

Ok, thanks. I'm shooting for 12.7s once I get the knock out my car. I'm only running 22degrees of timing at WOT right now due to knock and have it tuned for gas mileage. Once I get the knock out, I'll return it to stock to see just how fast it is. Currently I've gone 12.93@108 with a 2.04 60ft without a burnout as it sits. All stock other than it being lowered including street tires. I have a 2001 SLP SS A4. Onyx Black/Ebony Leather/T-Tops/Chrome ZR1s(SLP Option)/Powerflo Exhaust(SLP Option)/Lowered/85,000 miles.
