Short time info!
Short time info! Ok so i have a shitty short time in my car 2.09 7.79 at 96mph Its a 401 with just shy of 500 hp and 480 trq 6 speed 3690 lbs and what i was wanting to know if i can get the low end down to a say 1.55 or 1.60 what would be the result on the big end ?
Just bolt some slicks on it and find out. All you are gonna get on here are guesses. o know for sure you need to get the car to hook.
Just for entertainment purposes, here's my GUESS.
7.35 @ 97-98
Put that pig on a diet and bolt on some slicks and it could go high 6's.

You're giving up a good 3-5 tenths on the 60 foot time, and the mph in the 1/8 is good for 7.teens to possible high 6s with (as mentioned) weight reduction and a killer 1.5 or better 60 foot time.

10 bolt say bye bye get a 12 blt at least ...then slap some slicks on it and come out at 6000, on a m/t dr i went 1.5's and went 10.61 @ 128+ ..6.7 thru the 1/8 @ 103 mph ...that was with my m6 ....and i have 500 rwhp

I got lots of 1.89's on my 10 bolt on good tires being 6 spd. Now i have a midwest fab 9, and i have got pretty consistent low 1.7's. I could still leave harder, but am worried about the stock t56 now.
I would imagine 96 mph in the 1/8 would be good for low 11's possibly a high 10 in the 1/4. Definatly need to get the 60 ft down.
