question about fabricating TA mount
question about fabricating TA mount i have a 2000 camaro with a 12 bolt out of a 93 camaro...my buddy gave me a tunnel mounted torque arm for it...the design is for a 98-02 so the bolt holes dont line up on the differential housing... ive compared the bracket to a universal designed one, and this particular company offsets the torque arm closer to the drivers side of the tunnel than most aftermarket pieces, so any bracket isnt going to work...i figured my best bet would be to make one myself...
so heres my question... when setting the mounting location, does the torque arm have to ride 100% parallel to the body of the vehicle?
if so, im assuming to center the rear end first on the alignment rack, and then take my measurments for mounting the arm correct?
