ARE is selling their car and engine to start another project. For all we know the car might not even be together right now. Hopefully they will build a car that fits the rules for next year and they can continue to race with the rest of us.

Go back 6000 posts ago and you will see that Paul already said that they CAN RUN in the Thunder Shootout. And that they CAN NOT RUN in the Madman Big Dog Shootout according to Brian's rules. That's the distinction. It would be nice to see them run in both. It's not going to happen. There's been no concessions on the rules despite all the rediculously miniscule **** that has come up. That's it! It's more than likely not going to happen this time around. Get over it.

All this **** is really boring now. The Thunder Shootout is by far the best race going for us and the stigma of all this extra crap is overwhelming.

 

Derty grudge matches are allowed though.

I think they are setting the record now for the longest wait for a grudge match. I think it should be settled through XBox live or something. Less hassles and stuff to deal with.

Hey I have IHRA Drag Racing for the playstation. It is VERy real to life.

There were a bunch of us on the corral last winter that had a league going where we set certain rules and that was all you could do. It was amazing the times you could get by just fooling with suspension setups n under powered cars. LOL

 

Couldn't have said it better myself... This stuff is getting really old.

I posted the pictures of Madman's car because Brian had no way to host them himself, and people wanted to see them. I just wanted to help folks satisfy their curiosity, and see a couple of details myself (since I'm narrowing my rear and I run the same size tire as Madman).

The BS whining from folks on both sides of the debate needs to stop, as it's really boring.

 

I would put up $10 to have this happen. Im not going, But I would love to see the results of this on LS1Tech. If it does happen, count me in for 10!!

 

In fact, the thought of taking up a collection among board members to fund a grudge match between these two cars is so ridiculous, I'm locking this thread...
