370ci numbers??

Default 370ci numbers??

I did a search looking for some numbers that some 370's are runnin, havent really found anything, im going to be building a 370ci iron block here in the next month and already starting to gather parts together and wanna know what to expect. from what ive seen from a couple threads it should be over 475rwhp, here is my combo im going with what do you expect it to run on the dyno and track??

-6.0l bored .030 and all block work done to go with it
-Probe forged SRS 4.030 with -3ccvr's
-Legend 6.125 ultra-light I-Beam rods about 560g's
-ms4, adj timing chain, etc..
-PRC stg 2.5 5.3l heads
-supporting boltons such as LPP's new headers, lid, pulley, etc
-hoping for a Fast 90/90 or 92/92 with fuel rails
-36lb ford injectors
-4.10 in factory 10 bolt for one pass until it breaks lol..
-hopefully be spraying a 150-250 shot since the bottom end will be forged
-car also has SFC's, LCA's, Adj TA, Adj PHR

there prolly will be more stuff done to it, maybe a lil more weight reduction than there already is, there is only the spare tire removed and jack and stuff like that, will prolly get some radials for it, just looking for some rough est. i think the car will be around 11.5:1 comp ratio which is more than what ive seen with the other 370's ive looked at and they made about 475rwhp or so.. so i dunno what kinda power to look out of it, lemme know what you think!!

I have a 98 TA with a 370, full weight car went 11.7:1 CR it went 11.50 @ 118 and on a 300shot 9.8xx @ 138

The first time that 10 bolt hooks its over..... 4.10s little big for your setup, 373s are ideal.

Also that was on bone stock suspension..... Only a torque arm....

What about cheaper heads and spend the extra $1k on a 4" crankshaft? Then you'd have a 408, and you can go back with better heads later on. Easier to swap heads than a crank. If you're buying a new stock crank, it'll cost you less than $1k extra.

One of the members on here made over 475 IIRC or so on stock LS1 heads with a 408" bottom end.

Just something to toss around.....

I went 8.35 with my 366 (370 is .030 over, mine is only .010 over)

Did have a little boost helping out though

lol.. im using a stock 6.0l crank, the motor was bassically new when it broke a rod (was in a wrecked pickup truck and it layed on its side too long, hydrolocked from oil in the cylinder, only had like 8k miles if that on the motor) im prolly not gonna have it bored now and just hone the cylinder, and also i already had the heads from my ls1 build i had..
