Default Removing all the black plastic up front

What is everyone doing with all the black plastic up front and in the front wheel wells? Is it ok to remove all of this? will it effect the aerodynamics much? The car should see 150+ traps. The pieces would consist of both wheel well plastics, the black air dam and the black piece in front of the radiator, and the two seperate black plastics on either side under the bumper. If you need better description or pics let me know. Thanks

ive also removed my air dam, radiator plastic, cut the flap on the bottom of the bumper and removed the 2 seperate pieces on the sides. i trimmed the lower flap on the wheelwell plastic off (the flap that attaches to the 2 seperate pieces on the sides) i kept my wheelwell plastic to keep dirt and rocks out of the door jams. also heard that if u remove the wheelwell plastic will eat away at the corner of the fiberglass doors

I left mine in. Doesn't weigh much and ties in everything nicely up front.

I hucked all of them in the trash on my 93. The only ones I left in were the wheel wells to keep trash out of the doors.

I was gonna take the wheel well liners and cut them so the small portion needed to keep the hinge area clear from debris... just haven't gotten around to it yet.

It's on the list in my quest for a 3000 lb raceweight.

the radiator scoop you might need. just watch for the car running warmer. as far as the rest of it, you can scrap it as long as you re-brace the bumper in the center bottom, and each side close to the fenders. small aluminum straps work well and are cheap.

I'd leave the lower air dam, that is an aero thing, but the rest can go.
