yup contrary to what so many people think, if you can hook on stickier tires, your mph will INCREASE as you get to go full throttle on the entire track, versus spining and not getting into accleration till you finally hookup.

in a A4 your mph will go up with traction..
i mean you wont see a big MPH gain or loss from a 1.70 and a 1.66(just example)
but a 1.90 and a 1.60 would be roughly 2-3mph in a A4
also just depends on if the air is good out
when i was stock.. spinnin to 1.74-8's i would see 109 traps. Hookin to 1.64's I saw 112 traps

So let me get this straight, early this year I was dead hooking with my 273s and stock cam, and now I have 342s and a 216/220 cam and 30hp and 50 ft of torque then before and no traction in first, My MPH is about the same but my 60ft are worse now because of traction, So if I hook my MPH will go up and my ET down .My car ran consistent 12.40s before, now I can break 12.60s and that all because of the traction issue.Would a 60 ft from 1.86 to 1.75 make a big deal in ET and mph. Thanks.
