Default launching on nitto DR's

looking for input on launching M6 cars on DR's. what rpm's? How much pressure do you run DR's at? and how much do you heat them up. Please include your 60ft times. thanks

I set tires in the 15-18psi range. Do an 8 second smoky burnout. Then launch at 4k rpms on my stock Z06 clutch and stock 3.42's and no weight reduction. I get consistent 1.9's on a not so well prepped track. The balder your nitto's get, the stickier they get, that has been my experience anyways.

In my experience dumping is a no no. It either bogs or spins like crazy. When I was running a bolt on car with spray I would slip the clutch around 3300 after a good smokey burnout. I was cutting mid 1.8's.

Same here, dont dump it, i did 21 lbs of pressure because they were hooking at that. I suggest you keep as much in as possible when they hook. It will improve your ET with more pressure. Find the pressure where your hooking and go from there. Also, i rev it to 3300 or so, and roll out of it. I cut consistent 1.90 60 foots on a stock 10 bolt. Im a little scared to go higher. And i do only a 3-4 second burn out.
